About the Family
A warm, thoughtful, and professional family in Brentwood, Maryland is seeking a caring, calm, and organized full-time nanny to support their infant. The family values open communication, reliability, and a joyful presence, and they are excited to welcome a nanny who will become a trusted and steady part of their daily routine. Both parents work a hybrid schedule from separate office spaces in the home. They are present at times but maintain clear boundaries, seeking a nanny who is confident, capable, and able to work independently while communicating collaboratively.
The infant is at a sweet early stage of development, and the family is looking for someone attentive, nurturing, and experienced with young infants—able to support feeding routines, naps, and age-appropriate engagement with patience and care. The household has two dogs—a senior dog and a 4-year-old dog. Comfort with dogs and willingness to provide light pet care, including letting them out and walking them, is required. There are no dietary restrictions or required travel for this role.
About the Role
This position focuses on attentive infant care with child-focused household support. Responsibilities include managing feeding routines, naps, developmental milestones, and age-appropriate engagement. The nanny may provide occasional date-night or weekend coverage as mutually agreed.
Child-related household support includes baby laundry, bottle cleaning, light kitchen tidying, meal prep, taking out the garbage, and light pet care. Childcare is always the top priority, with household and pet-related tasks completed as time allows. The ideal candidate is calm, nurturing, organized, and joyful, able to manage routines thoughtfully while building a long-term, trusting relationship with the family.
