A warm, thoughtful, and professional family in Brentwood, Maryland is seeking a caring, calm, and organized full-time nanny to support their infant, who will be 3 months old at the time of hire. Both parents work a hybrid schedule from a separate office space within the home. While they may be present during the day, they are mindful of maintaining clear boundaries and are seeking a nanny who is confident, capable, and comfortable working independently while also communicating collaboratively as needed.
The infant is at a sweet early stage of development, and the family is looking for a nanny who is attentive, nurturing, and experienced with young infants—someone who can support feeding routines, naps, and age-appropriate engagement with patience and care.
The family has two dogs: one senior dog and one 4-year-old dog. Comfort with dogs and willingness to assist with light pet care is essential, including letting the dogs out into the backyard and taking them for walks. There are no household dietary restrictions or allergies, and the family does not require any travel as part of this role.

Responsibilities:
Childcare & Family Support:
Provide attentive, nurturing care for the infant
Support feeding routines, naps, and developmental milestones
Engage the baby in age-appropriate play and interaction
Maintain a calm, safe, and loving environment
Prepare bottles and support feeding routines
Offer occasional date-night or weekend coverage as mutually agreed
Household Support (Child-Focused Priority):
Light household and kitchen tidying
Laundry for the baby
Bottle cleaning and sanitation
Light meal prep
Taking out the garbage
Light pet care, including letting dogs outside and taking walks
Childcare is always the top priority, with household and pet-related tasks handled as time allows.
Additional Needs:
Nanny must have a reliable personal vehicle for commuting
Free on-street parking is available
Family vehicle provided for very rare on-the-job driving
No travel required

30 guaranteed hours per week
Flexibility available for the right fit

Guaranteed full-time hours (30/week)

Qualifications:
Prior professional nanny experience, including infant care
