Both parents work inside and outside the home and occasionally travel for work. The household is calm, well-organized, and respectful, with a collaborative approach to communication. The home includes a few fish (no care needed) and is a pork-free, lactose-free environment.
The Ideal Nanny

Responsibilities
Provide attentive, developmentally supportive care for the 7-year-old
Support homework, creative projects, and active play
Manage school pick-up, after-school activities, and occasional full-day coverage
Prepare child’s meals and snacks (mindful of dietary needs)
Maintain organization of the child’s playroom, bedroom, and belongings
Assist with light household tidying and occasional errands
Minimal fish care (occasional feeding)
Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of professional nanny experience, including experience with school-aged children
Strong tenure and excellent references
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Valid driver’s license preferred
Passport preferred for potential future travel (no trips currently planned)
CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
Compensation & Benefits
$40/hour, guaranteed 40–45 hours per week
2 weeks paid vacation (one week nanny’s choice)
5 paid sick days
