A warm, loving, busy family in Midtown Manhattan is seeking an experienced, emotionally intelligent, and developmentally attuned nanny to care for their infant son, who will be 6 months old at the time of hire. Their baby is easygoing, happy, and even-tempered, and the family is looking for a candidate who can provide nurturing, steady support while maintaining a calm, grounding presence in the home.
This position is best suited for a candidate who is confident with infant development, understands early milestones, and can create a thoughtful routine that supports the child’s growth. The family values a nanny who is warm yet not overstimulating, organized, proactive, and able to anticipate needs with minimal oversight.
Parents travel frequently for work, so flexibility with overnights and schedule adjustments is essential. The family welcomes candidates open to live-in accommodations during the week. A baby nurse remains with the family seven days a week.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00am–8:00pm
60 hours/week guaranteed
Flexibility for overnights, extended hours, and occasional weekend support when parents are traveling.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, developmentally supportive care for an infant (6 months at start)
Maintain a warm, emotionally attuned presence; respond calmly under pressure
Follow parents’ lead and respect household boundaries and routines
Support developmental milestones with age-appropriate stimulation and activities
Prepare bottles; clean and sanitize all baby items and feeding supplies
Introduce solids and prepare simple, nutritious meals for the baby
Manage all nursery-related tasks, including:
Baby laundry
Clothing inventory and sizing needs
Changing linens
Restocking diapers, wipes, and supplies
Keep baby’s spaces and common areas tidy and organized
Assist with light household errands such as grocery shopping for baby items
Collaborate smoothly with baby nurse and household staff
Travel with the family domestically and internationally
Provide pet-friendly support around two American Bulldogs (no direct pet care beyond comfort/comfortability)

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $130,000–$150,000, depending on experience
Vacation: 2 weeks paid (nanny selects one week)
