Full-Time Nanny Needed for Growing Family in South End, Boston
Start: Early to mid October (flexible for the right fit)
Children: Three children — girl (7), boy (5), and a new baby boy arriving in January
Compensation: $30-$40/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 10:00 AM–7:00/7:30 PM; Friday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM (45 hours/week guaranteed)
Description:
A vibrant, loving family in the South End of Boston is seeking a kind, outgoing, and experienced full-time nanny to care for their two school-aged children and a newborn baby arriving in January. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned, collaborative nanny who enjoys engaging with older children while confidently managing the rhythms of a busy household.
Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation (1 week chosen by nanny), 5 paid sick days, major federal holidays off and paid, open to healthcare stipend, two-year incentive bonus
Live-Out: Live-out position
Household Dynamic:
The two older children are bright, active, and deeply curious — both love to read and are enrolled in a variety of after-school activities, including ballet, soccer, swim, jiu jitsu, math enrichment, and tennis. The home is pet-free, and both parents have consistent work schedules — dad works full-time outside the home, and mom works 100% remotely from a dedicated home office. The family welcomes occasional travel and weekend babysitting, but it is not required. A family car is available for use on the job, and parking will be provided for a nanny who prefers to use her own car.
Ideal Candidate:
The family is seeking a nanny who is active, attentive, and fun, with a calm but firm approach to guiding children. A great fit will be someone who is experienced with both older children and infants, values open communication, and thrives in a collaborative family environment. Someone who takes initiative and can truly be an extension of the parents will be deeply appreciated in this role.
Primary Responsibilities:
Attentive care for school-aged children and infant (starting January)
School and activity pick-ups/drop-offs as needed
Engaging and age-appropriate activities
Encouraging independence and tidiness in children
Meal prep for the children
Light home tidying and organization
Seasonal clothing inventory and rotation
Washing and sanitizing bottles and baby items
Putting away dishes and items used throughout the day
Qualifications:
Experience with school-aged children and newborns
Confident managing multiple children and varied schedules
Warm, proactive, and reliable personality
Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
Organized, punctual, and adaptable
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Long-term interest in a stable nanny position
Comfortable using family car or own vehicle (parking provided)
If you’re a dependable, energetic caregiver who thrives in a dynamic household and is looking for a long-term role with a warm and welcoming family, we’d love to hear from you!
