Loving and Experienced Infant Nanny Needed in Back Bay, Boston

Compensation: $74,000–$86,000

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Description: A warm and welcoming family in Back Bay is seeking a full-time nanny to provide nurturing, developmentally attuned care for their 5-month-old baby boy. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experience infant caregiver who is excited to support early milestones and become a valued part of a kind, respectful household. 

Location: Back Bay, Boston, MA

Child: 5-month-old boy

Start Date: June 16, 2025 (preference for trial or transition days prior to official start)

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm, 45 hours/ week guaranteed 

Compensation: $30 - $35/hr ($74,000 - $86,000 annually, based on experience)

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation (nanny chooses one week), 5 paid sick days, paid major federal holidays, and a monthly healthcare stipend if needed

Live-Out: This is a live out role. 

Household Dynamic:

The family's baby is sweet, happy, and thriving in a loving, structured environment. While they're currently exploring a possible milk allergy, he is otherwise healthy and active. Mom and Dad both work hybrid schedules with separate home office spaces. The household includes one small, hypoallergenic 8-pound dog who loves cuddling but requires no care. The family values open. communication, reliability, and strong experience with infant care. They're seeking a nanny who can confidently support development through age-appropriate activities and has a keen awareness of milestones. A background in education is plus, and they appreciate candidates who take initiative and remain a calm, positive, demeanor. 

Ideal Candidate: 

The ideal nanny is caring, communicative, and experience with infants. A former teacher or someone with a strong understanding of early childhood development is especially encouraged to apply. You should feel confident planning enriching activities, managing routines independently, and collaborating with parents on daily updates. A detail-orientated, proactive nature will go a long way in this role. The family is looking for a nanny who has experience transitioning infants from milk to solids and who can prepare healthy baby food.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Provide consistent, loving care for the baby throughout the day 

  • Plan developmentally appropriate, engaging, and screen-free activities 

  • Track milestones and support transitions like introducing solids 

  • Prepare and sanitize bottle and make homemade baby food 

  • Handle baby's laundry and maintain an organized nursery 

  • Light home tidying, especially child-related areas

Qualifications: 

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. 

  • 3+ years of professional nanny experience 

  • Extensive infant care experience required 

  • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain before the start date)  

  • Comfortable with light household tasks and proactive home support 

  • Warm, communicative, dependable, and developmentally minded, Pet-friendly (no care required)
