A kind and active family in Chevy Chase, MD is seeking a professional and engaging nanny to care for their two elementary-aged sons. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dependable, fun-loving, and organized caregiver who thrives with school-aged children and enjoys a varied afternoon schedule.
Benefits: 2 weeks of paid vacation (nanny chooses 1 week), 5 paid sick days, major federal holidays off and paid, annual bonus, open to healthcare stipend

Household Dynamic
Both boys attend school during the day and are home in the afternoons. The oldest child is highly intellectual, with interests in math, reading, chess, and nature. The youngest is an energetic and empathetic sports lover with a great sense of humor and a love for animals. The family also has a sweet 9-year-old Labrador Retriever—so comfort with dogs is a must.
The family is internationally minded, having lived overseas in both Europe and North Africa, and values bringing that cultural experience and openness into their home. Mom works outside the home, and while very minimal driving is required, a valid driver’s license and access to a personal car are required. A street parking pass will be provided.
Ideal Candidate
The family is looking for a positive, punctual, and proactive nanny who is organized, attentive, and a team player. A nanny who is fun yet calm, observant, and great at multitasking will feel right at home. The ability to form a thoughtful connection with children while confidently managing household tasks is key.
