Position Type: Live-out, full-time

Household Overview:

The three older children are in school from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, so the primary focus during the day will be on the newborn, who is bottle-fed and experiencing some reflux. The family has two large dogs and a cat—no pet care is required, though occasional letting them out may be requested. Dad occasionally works from home in a private office, and mom is a stay-at-home parent. There are no dietary restrictions in the home. While no travel is currently planned, the family would like the nanny to be open to occasional travel in the future. A car is required for commuting to the home and for occasional local errands, though driving is not a primary duty of the role.

Primary Responsibilities:

Childcare (Primary Focus):

  • Provide loving, attentive care for a newborn (including bottle-feeding and soothing a baby with reflux)

  • Support after-school routines for the older children when they’re home

  • Maintain a calm, structured environment alongside an engaged stay-at-home parent

  • Assist with bottles, naps, and baby-related tasks

Household Support (Light Duties):

  • Sanitize bottles and baby items

  • Assist with children’s laundry and clothing inventory

  • Return packages and run occasional local errands

  • Help with household organization and tidying up after the children

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal nanny is dependable, nurturing, and dedicated to supporting a busy household. They are timely, proactive, and prioritize the family’s needs while bringing a calm, positive energy into the home. A genuine love for being a nanny, strong organizational skills, and the ability to take initiative will make you a great fit for this family.

Bonus Skills:

  • Comfortable with large dogs and a cat

  • Open to occasional travel with the family

  • Experience with newborns and school-age children

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional nanny experience (newborn and multiple children experience strongly preferred)

  • Legal work authorization in the U.S.

  • Strong communication and time management skills

  • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)

  • Valid driver’s license and own car

If you’re a nurturing, proactive, and organized nanny looking for a long-term role with a loving family, we’d love to hear from you!

Job Type: Full-time

Benefits:

  • Health insurance stipend considered

  • Paid time off
