About the Family

A warm and loving family in SoHo is seeking a professional, proactive, and nurturing nanny to care for their sweet and alert infant beginning in July. Their baby is bottle-fed, engaging more with the world each day, and beginning to settle into consistent developmental rhythms and routines. The family is looking for a nanny who genuinely enjoys caring for infants and who brings a calm, positive, and joyful energy into the home each day.

Both parents work full-time, with Dad working from an office daily and Mom splitting her time between a home office and an external studio space. The family values professionalism, warmth, discernment, reliability, and strong communication and hopes to build a long-term relationship with someone who will become a trusted and supportive presence in their child’s life.

The family would love to find a nanny who speaks French or is comfortable incorporating French language exposure into the child’s day-to-day routines, though French fluency is preferred and not required.

About the Role

This role will focus on providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care for the family’s infant while helping maintain a calm, organized, and well-functioning household environment. The ideal nanny is naturally proactive, has strong infant instincts, high stamina, and takes pride in creating a peaceful and nurturing atmosphere while supporting the baby’s developmental growth and routines.

The nanny will facilitate enriching, screen-free activities throughout the day including walks, reading, tummy time, sensory play, classes, library outings, and other developmentally supportive experiences that encourage exploration and learning. The family appreciates a nanny who is engaging, thoughtful, and excited to support developmental milestones during infancy and beyond.

Child-related household responsibilities include:

Children’s laundry
Bottle cleaning and sanitation
Meal prep for the child
Kitchen tidying
Light home tidying and organization

The family especially values someone who takes a “clean-as-you-go” approach to the kitchen and child-related spaces and who contributes positively to the overall flow and organization of the home. There are no household dietary restrictions or allergies.

1–2 years of in-home infant experience required
