About the Family & Role

A warm family in Harbor East, Baltimore, MD, is seeking a patient, organized, and proactive nanny/family assistant to support their two children, ages 6 and 4. The family is looking for someone who communicates clearly, takes initiative, and can help create a positive, structured environment while supporting the children’s growing independence and emotional development.

The 6-year-old girl is very sweet, loves art and reading, and enjoys spending time in the water. She is in first grade and is becoming increasingly independent. The 4-year-old boy is energetic, affectionate, and active. He loves trucks, cars, climbing, and sports and enjoys staying busy.

The children attend school from 7:50 AM to 3:00 PM, followed by after-school care until 4:00 PM, when the nanny/family assistant will pick them up. Both children attend Kumon on Mondays and Wednesdays and participate in another after-school activity on Tuesdays and Thursdays. After their activities, the children return home for dinner, playtime, and Kumon homework as needed. The nanny/family assistant will help maintain the evening routine and assist with bedtime around 8:00 PM.

Both parents work full-time with hybrid schedules, so the nanny/family assistant should be comfortable working in a household where parents may be home at times.
