About the Family:

A warm, thoughtful, and hands-on family in Newton is seeking a kind, patient, and proactive full-time nanny to support their two young children: a 3-year-old boy and a 4-month-old baby boy. The family values respectful communication, flexibility, and a strong sense of teamwork, and they are looking for a nanny who will become a true right-hand partner to Mom throughout the day.

Mom is a stay-at-home parent, and Dad works outside of the home most days. It is important to the family that the nanny is confident, engaged, and collaborative, supporting the flow of the day and helping manage routines with consistency and warmth. The family is seeking a nanny who is comfortable working alongside a parent and contributing thoughtfully to the household rhythm.

The 3-year-old attends school three mornings per week from 8:45am–11:45am, followed by lunch at home, a nap from approximately 1:15pm–3:00pm, followed by afternoon snack, playtime, and dinner. The bedtime routine begins around 7:00pm. He thrives with structure, gentle guidance, and caregivers who model strong emotional regulation and positive behaviors. The family would love a nanny who can support early learning, including phonics skills, in a playful and age-appropriate way.

The infant is primarily breastfed and currently contact napping, with sleep training planned in the near future. The family is seeking a nanny who is attentive, responsive, and experienced with infants, and who can support evolving sleep routines with patience and care.

The family has no pets. Dad has a gluten intolerance, and Mom has an allergy to all scented products, so scent-free products are essential in the home. The family does not allow screen time and prioritizes engaged, hands-on caregiving.
