A warm, easygoing, and appreciative single-parent household in Needham, MA is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their happy, outgoing toddler. This is a loving home environment with a very social, inquisitive child who enjoys engaging with the world around them and participates in several local activities throughout the week, including library story times and a playgroup.
The parent works a hybrid schedule, spending three days in the office and two days working from home in a separate office. She values a nanny who is dependable, flexible, and comfortable taking initiative with outings, activities, and the daily rhythm of care. The family would especially love someone who enjoys planning enriching experiences, spending time outdoors, and connecting with local community activities.

Responsibilities
Childcare & Developmental Support:
Provide attentive, nurturing, and engaging care
Plan age-appropriate outings, library visits, and playgroup activities
Spend ample time outdoors and exploring the community
Support social, emotional, and developmental growth
Manage daily routines including meals, naps, and transitions
Household Support (child-related):
Children’s laundry
Kitchen tidying after meals
Meal prep for the child (and simple family meals if comfortable)
Light home organization related to the child
Seasonal clothing rotation for the child
Managing diaper pail and light tidying
Assisting with child-related tasks, such as letting in contractors when needed
Transportation:
Nanny must have a reliable personal vehicle for commuting and outings
Driveway parking is available
Compensation & Benefits:
$30–$35/hour, depending on experience
45 guaranteed hours per week
