A warm and active Lexington family is seeking a proactive, organized, and nurturing full-time nanny to care for their two young children. Their 4.5-year-old daughter is creative, engaged, and energetic, while their almost 3-year-old son is curious, playful, and loves being active. Both children have busy schedules that include school, activities, and plenty of time outdoors.

The family is looking for a nanny who is comfortable working alongside parents at home, enjoys arts and crafts, outdoor play, and engaging activities, and can balance patience, structure, and fun while supporting both children’s development.

Key Responsibilities

Childcare

  • Provide warm, engaged, and developmentally supportive care for both children

  • Manage daily routines, including school drop-off/pick-up for half days as needed

  • Plan enriching activities tailored to each child’s interests

  • Prepare simple, kid-friendly meals and make lunches ahead of time

  • Ensure children’s clothing and spaces are tidy and organized

  • Offer occasional date-night coverage

Household Support

  • Children’s laundry

  • Light grocery shopping and pantry organization

  • Stock household supplies and assist with tidying common areas

  • Light dog care: feeding and short walks with the family’s French bulldog

  • General organization and staying ahead of household needs
