Description:
A warm and attentive family in McLean Gardens, DC is seeking a professional, caring, and experienced full-time nanny to provide dedicated care for their 6-month-old son. He is a happy, smiley, and interactive baby who thrives with familiar faces and takes a little time to warm up to new people. The family is focused on his ongoing development, particularly supporting his milestones, and values a nanny who is engaged, patient, and communicative.
This is a 6-month temporary position, as the family plans to relocate to the Northeast in June 2026.
The household is small and organized, with dad working outside the home and mom working mostly from the office but occasionally from home. The family values a trustworthy, attentive, and safety-conscious nanny who can manage the day independently and provide consistent, loving care.

Trustworthy, nurturing, and attentive
Patient, communicative, and proactive
Knowledgeable in developmental milestones and infant care

Meal prep as needed
Laundry for the baby and organizing his items
Light household tidying and kitchen upkeep
Taking out garbage and general household maintenance
Occasional weekend coverage for date nights (not required)
Qualifications:
Prior experience with infants
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Organized, communicative, and calm under pressure
Background in child development, education, or nursing is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
$30–$40/hour, depending on experience
40 hours/week
Paid holidays, vacation, and sick days
Opportunity for a meaningful, short-term partnership
This is a wonderful opportunity for a caring, professional nanny to join a kind, development-focused family for a temporary 6-month placement before their planned relocation to the Northeast.
