Household Dynamic:
The children are vibrant, curious, and full of personality. The oldest (7B) is curious, loves to learn, prefers adult conversation, and enjoys science and nature. The 5-year-old (B) loves to dance, play outside, and participates in tennis and tai chi. The 3-year-old (G) is sassy, opinionated, and loves to dance, while the 1-year-old (G) is happy-go-lucky and enjoys mommy-and-me gymnastics. The oldest is in full-day school, the 5-year-old attends morning pre-K, and the youngest two attend morning preschool for 2.5 hours. The family has a friendly Labrador retriever and would love a nanny who enjoys dogs. Mom is a stay-at-home mom and Dad works hybrid, splitting time between the home office and outside work.

Ideal Candidate:
The family seeks a nanny who is fun-loving, active, proactive, hardworking, empathetic, creative, high-energy, and a great communicator. Someone who can engage in imaginative play, foster a love for the outdoors, and be observant and responsive to the children’s needs will thrive here. A team-player attitude is essential for working alongside Mom. A passport and openness to travel are preferred (the family spends 2–4 weeks each summer at Fisher Island), but not required.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Providing attentive, loving care for four children across different ages and stages

• Engaging the children in outdoor activities, imaginative play, and age-appropriate learning

• Supporting school routines and transportation (family prefers nanny use own car to get to work; a car can be provided for driving children)

• Meal prep for the children and light kitchen tidying

• Organizing and tidying children’s play areas and bedrooms

• Light household organization

• Occasional weekend/date night help (with advance notice)

Qualifications:

• Experience caring for multiple children across a range of ages

• Organized, proactive, and high-energy

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Dog-friendly and comfortable around a Labrador retriever

• Driver’s license required (car provided for child-related driving if needed)

• Legal work authorization in the U.S.

• Passport preferred for potential travel (not required)
