Loving and Engaging Full-Time Nanny Needed in Concord, MA
Start: September 15th
Location: Concord, MA
Children: Two girls (ages 4 and 2), with a baby boy due in January
Compensation: $30–$35/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Tuesday–Thursday: 7:30 AM–5:00 PM; Friday: 8:00 AM–3:30 PM (with flexibility for a later start once the baby arrives). Guaranteed 45 hours/week.
A warm and active family in Concord is seeking a respectful, attentive, and highly engaging nanny to care for their two daughters and soon-to-arrive baby boy. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, collaborative, and loves to create fun, developmentally enriching activities for young children. The position begins mid-September and offers long-term stability with a growing family.
Household Overview:
The family has two daughters—an intelligent, confident, and perceptive 4-year-old who loves to lead, and an energetic, independent, and funny 2-year-old with a happy-go-lucky personality. The sisters have a wonderful relationship and enjoy spending time together. A baby boy will be joining the family in January, and the nanny will play an important role in helping support this transition. Both parents work full-time in a hybrid schedule, splitting time between home and the office. The household is pet-free, and no travel is required.
Primary Responsibilities:
Childcare (Primary Focus):
Provide loving and attentive care for two young girls and a newborn (starting January).
Plan engaging, screen-free, developmentally appropriate activities.
Support social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Follow the children’s cues and maintain consistent routines.
Encourage positive sibling relationships and independence.
Family Support:
Children’s meal preparation.
Light tidying in the kitchen and play areas.
Children’s laundry and seasonal clothing organization.
Bottle clearing and sanitation (once baby arrives).
General light household organization and help with garbage as needed.
Ideal Candidate:
The family is looking for a nanny who is kind, empathetic, communicative, and deeply engaged with children. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of developmental milestones, be active and hands-on, and bring both warmth and professionalism to the role. A nanny who can collaborate with parents, encourage creativity, and maintain a structured but fun environment will be a great fit.
Requirements:
3+ years of professional childcare experience, ideally with infants and toddlers.
Own car required (preference for one that can fit three car seats).
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain).
Legal work authorization in the U.S.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Benefits:
2 weeks paid vacation (nanny chooses 1 week).
5 paid sick days.
Paid major federal holidays.
Open to healthcare stipend if needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Work Location: In person
