Description:
Household Dynamic
A welcoming and organized family in Chevy Chase is seeking a personable, active, and proactive nanny to support their three school-aged boys (14, 11, and 8). All children are in school full-time and have busy after-school routines. The role will involve school pick-ups, homework supervision, and extra support with reading for the youngest child.
The family values a nanny who is sporty, energetic, fun, and deeply engaged. Screen time is permitted but limited, and they appreciate someone who can encourage interactive activities and help maintain structure. The household is tidy and efficient, and they hope to find a nanny who takes pride in leaving the home organized each evening.
One parent works from home full-time and enjoys collaborating with the nanny, including tag-teaming driving responsibilities. The other parent travels or works in an office full-time.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal nanny is a self-starter—reliable, trustworthy, organized, and confident managing responsibilities independently. They should bring patience, positivity, and warmth to the home while maintaining structure for three active boys.
A strong cooking background is preferred, as all meals for the children are prepared from scratch. Someone active, sporty, and energetic will fit in beautifully with the family’s lifestyle. Comfort supporting homework—especially reading practice for the youngest—is important.
Spanish fluency or familiarity is a plus but not required.
