Household Overview:
The family has one sweet 8-week-old baby boy and a small 11-pound dog. Both parents work hybrid schedules—Mom works partly from home, and Dad works from home the majority of the time and travels occasionally for work. The home has free street parking available, and a car is not required for this position. Travel is not needed. The household is vegetarian-friendly, and there are no known allergies.
Primary Responsibilities:
Childcare (Infant-Focused):
Provide attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate infant care
Plan and implement enrichment activities and daily routines that support developmental milestones
Read to the baby and create a nurturing, engaging environment
Maintain consistent communication with parents regarding baby’s needs, milestones, and changes
Household Support:
Wash and sanitize bottles, prepare baby meals/bottles
Baby laundry and nursery upkeep
General light home tidying and kitchen cleanup
Take out trash as needed
Let dog out in the backyard
Occasional date night or weekend babysitting requested
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal nanny is gentle, confident, and highly communicative. Someone who is enthusiastic about child development, genuinely enjoys working with infants, and naturally takes initiative in the home will thrive in this role. A calm and kind presence with a strong attention to detail, flexibility, and a collaborative mindset is essential.
Bonus Skills:
Experience working with infants under 6 months
Passion for early childhood development
Comfort around small dogs
Qualifications:
3+ years of professional infant nanny experience
Current on all vaccinations (must be up to date)
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Legal work authorization in the U.S.
Comfortable with a small dog in the home
