Full-Time Nanny Needed in Dedham, MA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM (approx. 55 hours/week)
A warm, upbeat family in Dedham is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their three young children. This is a fantastic opportunity for a college educated and positive nanny who loves to create engaging, developmentally thoughtful days for children and thrives in a team environment alongside an involved parent. The role begins in September, with opportunities to start earlier and join the family in Cape Cod.
Location: Dedham, MA
Children: Three – a 6-year-old boy and 2-year-old twin girls
Start Date: September 2, 2025
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM (approx. 55 hours/week); additional weekend hours are occasionally available but not required
Compensation: $30–$40+/hr, depending on experience (approx. $97,000-$130,000)
Benefits: 2 weeks of paid vacation, 5 paid sick days, major federal holidays off and paid, and an optional healthcare stipend
Live-Out: Live-out year-round; live-in accommodations provided during summer travel
Household Dynamic:
The oldest child attends school full-time and is fully potty-trained. The twins are expected to begin potty training this summer and take a daily afternoon nap. The home runs smoothly with the help of a cleaning professional 2–3 times a week. Dad works outside the home and travels often for work, while mom is in and out during the day and enjoys tag-teaming with the nanny when possible, especially in the afternoons.
The family spends July and August in Chatham and would love for the nanny to join them full-time during that period (weekends off or flexible). Occasional domestic travel beyond summer is a possibility but not required.
Ideal Candidate:
The family is looking for a professional nanny who is confident, joyful, and grounded. Someone who is responsible, flexible, and brings a calm but fun energy to the home will thrive in this role. A strong knowledge of developmental milestones, particularly in toddlerhood, is important, as is a proactive and can-do attitude. Creativity, reliability, and warmth are key.
Primary Responsibilities:
Providing thoughtful and developmentally appropriate care for all three children
Supporting potty training for the twins
Planning and leading engaging, age-appropriate activities
Light tidying of common and children’s areas, including play areas
Children’s laundry and basic family errands (e.g. grocery runs, dry cleaning pick-up)
Maintaining household inventory and organization
School pickups and occasional driving (family car provided for use during working hours)
Qualifications:
3+ years of full-time nanny experience
Strong toddler experience required; twin experience a plus
College degree required
Driver’s license required; must have a reliable car to get to and from work
Legal work authorization in the U.S.
Emotionally mature, upbeat, flexible, and collaborative
If you’re a creative, responsible nanny who enjoys balancing structure with fun, and you're excited about joining a kind, active family for the long haul, we’d love to hear from you!
