Compensation: $30–$40 per hour | 40 guaranteed hours per week ($62,400 – $83,200 per year)

Children: 6 years old (girl), 4 years old (girl), 11 months old (boy) primary focus on older girls

Benefits: Paid major federal holidays, 10 paid vacation days (nanny chooses one week), 5 paid sick days, healthcare stipend if needed, and an annual discretionary bonus

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00am–7:00pm

About the Family

A warm and busy family in the South End of Boston is seeking an experienced, engaging, and highly reliable nanny/household manager to support their three children, with a primary focus on their two older daughters, ages 6 and 4. Both parents are actively involved—mom works from the office 4–5 days per week, and dad works from home. The family values a calm, organized, and proactive presence who can confidently help manage the children’s schedules and contribute to a well-run household. They are seeking someone warm, emotionally mature, and highly engaged, with a genuine interest in children’s development and education. There are no pets in the home.

About the Role

This role is a dynamic blend of childcare and household management, centered around afternoon and early evening support. Responsibilities include school pickups, transporting the children to activities and playdates, and engaging them in enriching, age-appropriate activities.

The position also includes a strong household management component. Responsibilities include preparing healthy meals for the children, light tidying, managing and coordinating the children’s schedules and activities, organizing calendars, handling grocery shopping and household inventory, and maintaining organization throughout the home. Additional duties include overseeing seasonal clothing rotations, managing the children’s wardrobes, and assisting with tasks such as servicing family vehicles.

Travel is an important aspect of this role. The nanny will be expected to spend approximately two weeks in early July and two weeks in late August with the family in East Hampton.

The ideal candidate is a confident and capable professional who is highly organized, proactive, and able to multitask with ease. They should be a self-starter who takes initiative, communicates effectively, and brings a warm, steady, and dependable presence to the home.

Requirements:

  • Prior professional nanny experience

  • 4-year college degree preferred

  • Significant experience with school-aged children 

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Valid driver’s license and confident driving ability

  • Reliable and punctual with a proactive, self-starting approach

  • Experience managing multiple children and busy schedules

  • Excellent references from previous families

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Transportation: Family can provide a vehicle, or nanny may use personal vehicle (parking available)

Travel: Domestic travel, including approximately two weeks in early July and two weeks in late August in East Hampton
