About the Family
A warm and welcoming family in Wellesley is seeking a professional, nurturing nanny to care for their infant and support their growing household. Their 9-week-old baby is calm, easy to soothe, and beginning to become more alert and expressive—starting to laugh and engage more each day. The baby responds well to a calm, steady presence and is developing early sleep patterns, though not yet on a firm schedule. Mom is currently breastfeeding and beginning the transition to bottle feeding. Both parents are actively involved—Mom works full-time in the office, while Dad splits his time between a home office and outside office. The family does not have pets, though grandparents’ hypoallergenic dogs visit occasionally, so comfort around dogs is important.
About the Role
This role is centered on attentive, loving infant care, along with thoughtful support of the household. Responsibilities include maintaining and supporting the baby’s feeding and sleep routines, bottle preparation and sanitation, and engaging in age-appropriate developmental activities. The nanny will also assist with light household tasks such as kitchen tidying, family laundry, light organization, meal prep for the child (as appropriate), and taking out the garbage. The ideal candidate is responsible, communicative, and team-oriented, with a positive, upbeat demeanor. A growth mindset and the ability to both give and receive feedback are highly valued in this collaborative household.

Prior professional nanny experience

Strong understanding of early childhood development

Excellent references from previous families
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
