About the Family:
A warm, hands-on family in Westport, CT is seeking a seasoned, professional full-time nanny to support their two young children and growing household. Both parents work from home and are very involved, and they are looking for a communicative, respectful team player who can work collaboratively while taking initiative.
The family has a 2-year-old daughter who is energetic, active, and sporty, and a newborn son. They hope to grow their family over time and would love a nanny who is comfortable supporting multiple children long term.
The family values developmentally focused care and would like a nanny with a strong childcare or education background who can confidently plan engaging, age-appropriate activities without needing constant direction.
The role requires flexibility and openness to travel, including domestic and international trips such as time in Jackson Hole and visits to family in Houston. Passport-ready candidates are preferred.
The family lives on a private island property, with parking just outside and a short walk across a bridge to the home. They have four friendly golden retrievers, so the nanny should be comfortable around dogs and happy to let them out as needed.
