About the Family

A warm and organized family in Chestnut Hill is seeking an experienced nanny/house manager to support their two young children and help maintain a thoughtfully run household. Their 3.5-year-old attends school Monday–Friday from 8:00am–2:00pm and is active, social, and loves being outdoors. Their 1.5-year-old is happy, curious, and currently crawling, working on food introduction, and benefiting from engaged, developmentally focused care.

The family values a healthy, structured lifestyle and is looking for a professional who can seamlessly integrate into their home, take initiative, and operate as an extension of the parents. Both parents work a mix of in-office and from-home schedules, and the household includes additional support (including an au pair), creating a team-oriented environment.

About the Role

This role is a true blend of attentive childcare and high-level household management. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and naturally one step ahead—someone who thrives on creating systems, maintaining organization, and supporting a busy home with intention.

Responsibilities include providing developmentally focused care for both children, planning and preparing healthy meals, managing children’s laundry and wardrobes (including seasonal organization), grocery shopping and meal planning, maintaining household and children’s inventory, and keeping shared spaces tidy and organized. The nanny/house manager will also coordinate with and let in household vendors, create schedules and systems for the home, and assist with occasional pet care for two friendly dogs.

The family is seeking someone warm yet structured, able to balance nurturing care with clear, respectful boundaries, who is confident managing two young children while also supporting the operational needs of the household.
