About the Family

A warm and welcoming family in Wellesley, Massachusetts is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and highly reliable nanny to provide attentive, developmentally focused care for their two children. Their inquisitive and engaging 3-year-old daughter attends preschool Monday through Friday from 9:00am–1:00pm and loves to dance, explore, and participate in enriching activities.

Both parents work professionally—dad is in the office four days per week, and mom works in the office every other week. The family values a calm, patient, and emotionally mature caregiver who is loving yet appropriately firm, communicates well, and is confident working independently while maintaining a warm and engaging presence.

There are no pets in the home.

About the Role

This position is centered on providing attentive, developmentally focused care for the family’s infant son while also supporting the older daughter during mornings, afternoons, and after preschool hours. Responsibilities include facilitating naps, engaging the children in enriching and age-appropriate activities, coordinating outings such as playground visits and library trips, and creating a structured, nurturing environment that supports healthy social, emotional, and developmental growth.

The nanny will be responsible for preschool drop-off and pick-up for the older child and managing the daily rhythm of the household in a proactive and organized manner. Additional responsibilities include preparing healthy meals for the children, bottle cleaning and sanitation, children’s laundry, and light home tidying and organization to support a well-run household.

The family would love to find a nanny who is caring, patient, communicative, independent, and proactive, with a genuine passion for child development and creating meaningful connections with children.
