A busy, active, and welcoming household in Highland Park is seeking an experienced, reliable, and highly organized housekeeper to support the day-to-day upkeep and overall functioning of their home (9,700 square feet). With three children and multiple pets, this is a dynamic household that requires someone who is calm under pressure, proactive, and able to maintain structure and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a beautifully kept home, works independently with minimal direction, and brings a consistently positive and professional attitude.
About the Role
This is a comprehensive, full-time housekeeping position responsible for the ongoing cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of the home and surrounding spaces.
Daily responsibilities include vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen cleaning and upkeep throughout the day, dishes, bed making, decluttering, household organization, and laundry for clothing, towels, and linens. Weekly dry-cleaning management is also required.
The role includes extensive seasonal deep cleaning and maintaining high standards of household presentation year-round. The housekeeper will also clean a separate coach house once per week.
Additional responsibilities include supply inventory and household management support, including restocking and organization. The housekeeper will assist with dining setup for events and holidays, maintain holiday décor alongside household staff, and help ensure outdoor living spaces remain clean and tidy.
The role also includes monitoring household maintenance needs, communicating issues to the House Manager, and assisting with vendor oversight when needed. Occasional errands and event support may be requested.

Requirements
Prior professional housekeeping or household support experience
Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Excellent communication skills
Positive, proactive, and dependable attitude
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Comfortable working in a busy household with children and pets
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent references from previous employers
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Transportation: car needed to get to job
