Benefits: Paid major federal holidays, 10 days paid vacation (5 days aligned with the family's prearranged vacation schedule and 5 days at the nanny's discretion), 5 paid sick days, monthly healthcare stipend if needed, annual discretionary bonus, annual raise, long-term incentive bonus (minimum 2-year commitment)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., with some degree of flexibility to shift earlier for occasional school closures or if a child is home sick

Their seven-year-old daughter is exceptionally observant, thoughtful, creative, and responsible. She is precocious, caring, and mature beyond her years while still being full of fun and imagination. She enjoys reading, pottery, jewelry making, soccer, and creative projects. She attends elementary school with dismissal at 3:10 p.m. (12:40 p.m. on most Wednesdays), participates in approximately two after-school activities each week, and thrives with caregivers who appreciate her curiosity, independence, and sensitive nature.
Their affectionate four-and-a-half-year-old son is incredibly kind, energetic, and loves spending time outdoors. He has a gentle, protective personality—especially with his sisters—and enjoys soccer, active play, and exploring outside. He attends school and is picked up at 2:45 p.m. from a different school than his older sister's school. He also participates in approximately two after-school activities each week and flourishes with caregivers who can enthusiastically engage him while providing consistency and structure.
Their independent two-year-old daughter is remarkably self-sufficient for her age and enjoys spending time outside, creating art, and riding her scooter. She attends school alongside her brother and is picked up with him each afternoon. Like her siblings, she loves being active and spending as much time outdoors as possible. The children enjoy playing together, have close sibling relationships, and are happiest when they're engaged in creative play, outdoor adventures, and enriching experiences.
Both parents work full-time, spending four days each week in the office and working remotely on Fridays from separate office spaces within the home. They are seeking someone who is dependable, trustworthy, punctual, and highly communicative. They appreciate caregivers who naturally take initiative, anticipate household needs, collaborate well as part of a team, and help create a positive, organized, and nurturing home environment.
The family does not eat red meat, although there are no food allergies in the home. They do not currently have pets and have no plans to add pets to the household.
About the Role
This position offers an outstanding balance of childcare and household management responsibilities. During school hours, the nanny will focus on household organization, errands, meal planning, and preparing for the children's return home before transitioning into afternoon childcare. Responsibilities include school pick-ups, transportation to extracurricular activities, facilitating enriching play and learning opportunities, organizing playdates, preparing children's meals and snacks, packing lunches and snacks for the following day, and supporting calm, consistent evening routines that include dinner and bedtime.
In addition to providing attentive, relationship-based childcare, the family is looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership of household management tasks and helping the home run efficiently. Responsibilities include grocery shopping and meal planning, children's laundry, seasonal clothing inventory and organization, light household tidying and organization, kitchen clean-up and organization, children's meal preparation, household errands, researching local activities and enrichment opportunities for the children, organizational projects throughout the home, coordinating servicing for the family vehicles, and taking out the garbage. The nanny will use the family vehicle for transporting the children to school, activities, and appointments as needed.

Requirements:
Prior professional nanny or nanny/household manager experience
Experience caring for multiple children of varying ages
Strong organizational and household management skills
Warm, engaging, and emotionally intelligent personality
Proactive, accountable, trustworthy, and highly dependable
Excellent communication skills and professionalism
Able to independently manage schedules, household projects, and family logistics
Passionate about engaging children through play, outdoor activities, creative experiences, and enriching opportunities
Comfortable coordinating playdates and researching age-appropriate activities
Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
Flexible and collaborative with parents as part of a team
4-year college degree preferred
Excellent professional references
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Intermediate cooking skills
Pets: None.
Transportation: The family vehicle is available for on-the-job driving. The nanny should have a valid driver's license and be comfortable driving the children. Parking is available for commuting.
Travel: Openness to occasional domestic travel is appreciated but not required. The family has no travel currently planned.
