About the Family
A warm and busy family in Boston’s South End is seeking an experienced, engaging, and reliable nanny to support their two young daughters. Both parents work full time in healthcare and are looking for a nanny who can confidently take the lead throughout the day while creating a nurturing, structured, and engaging environment for their children.
The family values honesty, open communication, and a positive attitude. They are hoping to find a nanny who will become a trusted partner in their household and provide dependable, thoughtful care while supporting their daughters’ growth and development. The family has no pets and no plans to add pets to the home. The role does not require travel.
The family is also planning to relocate to Cambridge, MA, ideally by October, and is looking for a nanny who can be flexible and supportive through this transition.
About the Role
This role is centered around providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care for two young children while supporting their daily routines, milestones, and individual personalities. The nanny will be responsible for creating a warm, engaging environment where both children can learn, explore, and thrive.
The older child, age 2.5, is happy, sweet, and has a wonderful demeanor. She is always excited to try new things, has a great sense of humor, and speaks both English and French. She enjoys spending time outside, exploring new activities, and engaging in hands-on experiences. She is currently working on potty training, takes one nap per day, and is a great eater who enjoys a variety of foods. She attends French school in Cambridge with drop-off at 8:00am and pickup at 5:00pm.
The younger child, age 4 months, is an easygoing and happy baby who is rolling over and becoming increasingly mobile. She eats approximately four times per day, takes four naps per day, and is slowly beginning to explore solid foods. The nanny will support her developmental milestones while maintaining her feeding and sleep routines.
Responsibilities include providing attentive care for both children, supporting daily routines and transitions, preparing meals and snacks for the girls, and creating age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, exploration, and development. Additional responsibilities include child-related household support such as children’s laundry, light home tidying and organization, kitchen tidying, and meal preparation for the children.
The ideal candidate is upbeat, honest, and communicative with a warm and dependable presence. The family is seeking someone who takes initiative, builds strong relationships with children, and values open communication and collaboration with parents.
