About the Family
A warm, welcoming, and collaborative family in Wellesley is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and dependable nanny to care for their sweet 7-month-old baby. Both parents are working professionals, with Mom working from the office full-time and Dad splitting his time between a home office and the office throughout the week. They are hoping to find a nanny who will become a trusted member of their family's support system and partner with them in creating a loving, consistent environment for their child.
The family strongly values a "village approach" to raising their child and believes children thrive when surrounded by caring, supportive adults who work together as a team. Grandparents and extended family members may occasionally stop by during the week to spend time with the baby when planned in advance, and the family is looking for a nanny who enjoys being part of a collaborative environment where open communication, mutual respect, and teamwork are prioritized.
The family does not have pets; however, grandparents' hypoallergenic dogs visit the home from time to time. No pet care is required, though comfort around dogs is important. The role does not require travel.
About the Role
This position centers around providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care for one happy and easygoing infant while supporting daily routines, developmental milestones, and creating a calm, engaging environment. The ideal candidate will confidently take the lead throughout the day while partnering closely with the parents to maintain consistency in routines and care.
The family's 7-month-old is a calm, content, and increasingly curious baby who is becoming more engaged with the world around them. They are receptive to calm, nurturing energy, are easy to soothe, sleep well, and adjust comfortably to new people. The baby currently follows a consistent routine, sleeping approximately 6:30pm to 6:00am with two naps during the day. They are breastfed, also take bottles, and are beginning to explore solid foods. The family has worked hard to establish predictable sleep and feeding routines and is looking for a nanny who will thoughtfully maintain that consistency while encouraging continued growth and development.
Responsibilities include providing attentive infant care, supporting feeding and nap routines, planning age-appropriate developmental activities, and creating opportunities for exploration, play, and learning throughout the day. Additional responsibilities include child-related and light household support, including nursery organization and cleanup, bottle and pump part sanitizing, preparing meals for the child, kitchen tidying, washing family dishes, family laundry, light home organization, taking out the garbage, and preparing one to two simple family meals each week.

Requirements:
Prior professional nanny experience
4-year college degree preferred
Extensive infant experience
Strong understanding of infant development and developmental milestones

Reliable, responsible, and dependable
