A warm and welcoming family in Brookline, Massachusetts is seeking a trustworthy, engaging, educated, and highly attentive nanny for their 2-year-old son, who will turn 3 in December. He is warm, loving, very advanced, and curious. The family values structure, routines, and a nanny who is proactive, engaged, and genuinely attentive to the child. They have one Mini Goldendoodle with no pet care required and a housekeeper three days per week.
About the Role
The nanny will provide loving, engaging care for the child and support his daily routines, school schedule, and activities. Responsibilities include taking him to classes, getting out into the community for activities such as parks and library visits, and keeping him engaged throughout the day.
Child-related household responsibilities include laundry, meal preparation, kitchen tidying, seasonal clothing inventory, tidying and sanitizing, cleaning toys, and general organization.
Travel is an important part of the role. The family travels internationally approximately once per year for 5–8 days and to Miami approximately 4–5 days per month. The nanny must be comfortable traveling domestically and internationally and have a valid passport. The nanny will use the family car for on-the-job driving in Boston; no driving is needed in Miami.
The ideal nanny will be warm, polished, detail-oriented, proactive, and highly attentive. The family is looking for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the small details, and is comfortable following structured routines and schedules. Occasional evening and weekend support for date nights is appreciated but not required.
