Collaborative Full-Time Nanny in Arlington, VA

Children: 3 children under 5-years-old and currently family planning
Compensation: $100,000+ annually with 50 hours guaranteed weekly
Schedule: Sunday 9:00 AM–7:00 PM; Monday through Thursday 11:00 AM–8:00 PM (50 hours/week guaranteed). Additional hours available if desired. Occasional overnights and travel required.

A warm and dynamic family in Arlington is seeking an experienced and adaptable full-time nanny to join their busy household. This role is ideal for a confident, street-savvy, and loving professional who thrives in a team environment and brings a calm, organized approach to each day. Maintaining a high level of privacy and discretion is essential in this role, as the family values confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
The family employs a second full-time nanny who works Monday through Friday. The incoming nanny will coordinate closely with this teammate to ensure seamless transitions, consistent routines, and shared communication around the children’s schedules, milestones, and household needs. The family values a professional who collaborates naturally, respects boundaries, and contributes positively to an organized, happy household.
The three young children each have their own unique personalities—strong-willed, laidback and loving, emotionally gentle, and happy-go-lucky—and the family hopes to find a nanny who meets each child where they are developmentally and emotionally.
Household Dynamic
The family maintains a respectful, welcoming home environment. There are no pets in the home. The family does not eat pork or shellfish, though there are no allergies. Dad travels frequently and Mom primarily works from home, but is involved with the children and appreciates a proactive partner in their care and routines. The nanny will also assist with household support, including errands, organization, and light meal prep.

Primary Responsibilities
Provide attentive, developmentally focused care for three children
Work as a cohesive team with parents and the other full-time nanny to maintain consistent care and routines
Plan and lead engaging activities, outings, and educational play around the city
Assist with organizing projects, grocery shopping, and light meal preparation
Help with dishes, opening packages, and maintaining household organization
Support packing and logistics for family travel several times per year (domestic)
Drive children to and from activities (family car provided for on-duty use)
Qualifications
Minimum 1-2 years of professional nanny experience
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Valid driver’s license (reliable transportation to and from work required)
Comfortable with travel and occasional overnights
