About the Family

A warm, welcoming, and down-to-earth family in Revere, MA is seeking a kind, capable, and adaptable Family Assistant to support their household and two independent, school-aged children. The family has an 11-year-old son and a 13-year-old daughter, both of whom are thoughtful, engaged, and largely self-sufficient.

Their daughter is sensitive, kind, and naturally helpful, while their son is sweet, affectionate, and mischievous, with a strong desire to please the adults in his life. He has ADHD and thrives with gentle structure, clear expectations, and positive reinforcement. Both children are active and involved in extracurriculars—dance and gymnastics for their daughter, basketball for their son—which means the afternoons are busy with school pickups and practices throughout the week.

Mom works primarily in an office setting and is only occasionally home during the workday. The family also has a lovable French bulldog who will need daily walks and occasional vet visits. This is a household that values humor, open communication, high standards paired with warmth, and a caregiver who can confidently step in as a steady, nurturing presence.

About the Role

This Family Assistant role is a blend of childcare, transportation, and household support, with a strong focus on after-school logistics and keeping the home running smoothly.
