About the Family

A warm, thoughtful family in West Newton is seeking a loving, calm, and highly attentive full-time nanny to care for their newborn infant. The baby is healthy, calm, and settling into early routines. Mom is breastfeeding, and the family is looking for a nanny who can thoughtfully support feeding routines, bottle preparation and sanitation, and age-appropriate developmental engagement. Both parents work full-time outside the home and value a dependable, professional caregiver who can maintain a calm, nurturing environment and collaborate closely with the family. The household has no pets and no dietary restrictions.

About the Role

This position focuses on attentive infant care with child-centered household support. Responsibilities include supporting feeding and nap routines, engaging the baby in age-appropriate developmental activities, and maintaining organization of baby supplies and nursery areas. Occasional evening or weekend coverage may be requested with advance notice. Household tasks are secondary and completed as time allows.

Requirements

  • Prior professional nanny experience, including newborn or infant care

  • 4-year Bachelor’s Degree

  • Strong understanding of infant development and early milestones

  • Calm, organized, and dependable caregiving style

  • Excellent communication skills and professionalism

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle

  • Excellent references from previous families

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Travel: Occasional domestic and international travel possible
