A warm and welcoming family in Boston's South End is seeking a nurturing and experienced full-time nanny to join their household team and help care for their three young children--ages 5, 3.5, and a newborn baby boy. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, proactive, and emotionally mature nanny who thrives in a dynamic home and enjoys working both independently and on a nanny-team.Location: South End, Boston, MA

Start Date: Flexible for the right fit, but ideally mid-September to early October
Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday (W/Th/F from 2:30pm-8:30pm and Sat/Sun from 8:00am-7:00pm) Monday and Tuesday are given off
Compensation: $34 - $38/hr, based on experience
Benefits: 2 weeks of paid vacation (nanny chooses one week), 5 paid sick days, paid major federal holidays, generous annual discretionary bonus, and a healthcare stipend if needed
Live-Out: This is a live-out position (with travel accommodations provided when needed)
Household Dynamic:The oldest child will attend full-day school, while the middle child will attend half-day school. The home is calm, but lively, with both parents working -- mom from an office most days and dad working from home currently, potentially returning to an office setting later this year. The family has no pets or dietary restrictions. Some domestic travel throughout the year is preferred but not required. The family employs another full-time nanny who works 50 hours per week (Mon-Fri) and will be present until 6pm during weekday shifts. During the weekends, the nanny will work collaboratively with the parents for the children’s care.Ideal
Candidate: The ideal candidate is emotionally mature, warm, and grounded, with a deep understanding of infant and early childhood development. An experienced childcare provider who has experience with infants is essential. You should be very kind, reliable, consistent, engaging, and enthusiastic about early education. A self-starter who is organized, good at multi-tasking, and naturally proactive will thrive in this role. Someone active, positive and confident in managing multiple children and schedules is ideal.
Primary Responsibilities:
Infant care and developmentally appropriate engagement
School pickups and transitions (activity pickup/dropoff, playdates...) for older children
Tidying kitchen and play areas, and light home organization
Children's laundry and meal prep as needed
Coordinating child-focused activities and play
Occasional travel (domestic, including summer in East Hampton)
Driving children as needed (family car provided or use of own vehicle with parking available)
Qualifications:
3+ years of professional childcare experience
Strong infant experience is a must
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Driver's license required
Emotionally mature, calm under pressure, and flexible
Confident multitasker and excellent communicator
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
