A warm and family-oriented household in Glen Ellyn, IL is seeking a full-time, nanny to care for their 3-month-old. The family values patience, sensitivity, and discretion, and is looking for someone who can provide a nurturing and dependable presence. Mom’s health requires that the nanny be observant, flexible, and proactive, supporting both the baby and household needs with empathy and awareness.
The family enjoys a calm and organized environment and values developmental support for their newborn. They do not have pets, though the grandmother occasionally visits with a sweet older dog. Minimal travel is required (1–2 domestic trips per year by private jet).
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide loving, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care for a 3-month-old
Manage daily schedule, including feeding (formula only), nap routines, and developmental milestones
Engage in creative, musical, or sensory play as appropriate; support early stimulation and bonding
Bottle cleaning, sanitation, and kitchen tidying
Grocery shopping, errands, and general household support
Family and baby laundry, organizing, and tidying
Basic meal prep as needed
Communicate openly with parents while respecting privacy and maintaining discretion
Be proactive and flexible in supporting the household and responding to parental needs
Qualifications:
Recent experience with newborns and infants
Strong understanding of developmental milestones
Warm, observant, flexible, and self-starting personality
Sensitive to parents’ needs and able to recognize when extra support is needed
Comfortable providing household support beyond childcare
CPR/First Aid certified for infants (up to date)
Valid driver’s license preferred but not required
Authorized to work in the U.S.
