About the Family

A warm, professional family based in Chestnut Hill is seeking a kind, proactive, and highly organized nanny to support their two children, ages 7 years and 18 months. Both parents are physicians with demanding schedules, so reliability, strong communication, and consistency are essential. The family values a calm, structured, and largely screen-free home environment and is looking for a nanny who brings a steady, nurturing presence to their children’s daily routines. The oldest child has a tree nut allergy, so the family is seeking a caregiver who is comfortable carrying and administering an EpiPen if needed.

The position works alongside a full-time live-out nanny who covers weekday afternoons, creating a collaborative and team-oriented household. The family is open to a live-in arrangement (private bedroom and bathroom provided) or live-out for the right candidate. No car is required for the role, though parking is available.

About the Role

This role focuses primarily on supporting calm and structured morning routines and providing additional scheduled coverage as needed. Responsibilities include packing school snacks and walking the 7-year-old to school, maintaining the 18-month-old’s sleep and nutrition schedule, assisting with daily baths, and supporting early toilet training. The nanny will also help oversee afterschool routines when needed, including showers, changing clothes, and preparing afterschool meals. The family is looking for a nanny who enjoys engaging with children through conversation, reading, arts and crafts, and play while maintaining a nurturing and organized environment.

Additional responsibilities include children’s laundry, basic kitchen tidying and daily resets, meal preparation for the children and family, light errands as needed, and maintaining a clean and efficient home environment.

  • Prior professional childcare experience

  • Experience with infants, toddlers, and school-age children

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Comfort with food allergies and administering an EpiPen

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Seeking a long-term role

  • 4 year Bachelors Degree preferred
