Benefits: W-2 employment, 2 weeks paid vacation (one week aligned with the family's schedule and one week of the employee's choosing), 5 paid sick days, paid major federal holidays, annual discretionary bonus, annual raise, healthcare stipend, and a long-term incentive bonus with a minimum two-year commitment

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, approximately 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (30 guaranteed hours per week), with a high degree of flexibility. Occasional overnight pet care for 2–3 days, approximately 1–2 times per month, is preferred.

A warm, welcoming family in the Foxhall Village neighborhood of Washington, D.C. is seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly organized housekeeper to support the daily upkeep and overall organization of their beautiful 2,852-square-foot home. The home features five bedrooms, one office, five full bathrooms, and one half bathroom. Both adults work primarily from home, with the husband traveling frequently for work. Two 16-year-olds also live in the home and are often around, though childcare responsibilities are not part of this position.

The family shares their home with three friendly dogs, one cat, and one bearded dragon, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys working around animals. About the Role

This is a comprehensive housekeeping position focused on maintaining a consistently clean, organized, and well-functioning household. Daily responsibilities include laundry, kitchen cleaning and maintenance, vacuuming, changing bed linens, deep cleaning bathrooms and living spaces, daily tidying, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the home. The ideal candidate enjoys creating orderly spaces, pays close attention to detail, and takes initiative without requiring daily direction.

In addition to housekeeping responsibilities, the role includes light pet care such as feeding and walking the family's dogs, as well as occasional household errands including grocery shopping and dry-cleaning runs. The family is looking for someone who is flexible, enjoys helping a busy household run smoothly, and is comfortable assisting wherever needed to support the home's daily operations.

The schedule offers a high degree of flexibility, and the family would appreciate someone who is available to provide occasional overnight pet care approximately one to two times per month for two to three days while they travel. This is not a requirement but is considered a significant plus.
