Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; Friday, 8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

A warm and welcoming family in Towson, Maryland is seeking a nurturing, proactive, and engaging nanny to support their two young children, including their 22-month-old daughter and a new baby arriving in September. Both parents work full-time outside of the home and are looking for a long-term partner who will become a trusted extension of their family as they welcome their newest addition. About the Role

This position is centered around providing loving, attentive care for a toddler and newborn while supporting the family through this important transition. Childcare responsibilities include creating nurturing daily routines, engaging in age-appropriate activities, supporting developmental milestones, facilitating outings and playdates, bottle cleaning and sanitation, children's laundry, and preparing meals as the children grow.

In addition to childcare, the family is looking for someone who enjoys contributing to the overall organization and flow of the household. Responsibilities include kitchen tidying, light home organization, household inventory management, seasonal clothing organization for the children, and light pet care. The ideal candidate is someone who naturally takes initiative, enjoys helping a household run smoothly, and approaches responsibilities with attention to detail.

The family appreciates occasional date night or weekend support when available, though this is not a requirement of the role. Travel may also be available as an opportunity but is not required. The ideal candidate is warm, dependable, and enthusiastic about becoming a long-term member of the family's team.

Requirements

Prior professional nanny experience
4-year college degree
Experience caring for infants and toddlers
Strong understanding of early childhood development and developmental milestones
Warm, nurturing, patient, and engaging personality
Excellent communication skills and professionalism
Reliable, punctual, and highly dependable
Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
Comfortable supporting light family assistant responsibilities
Proactive and able to take initiative
Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
Must live within approximately 30 minutes of the family's home
Excellent references from previous families
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Pets: One friendly 22-pound Cavanese; light pet care included

Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle required; parking available

Travel: Travel may be offered but is not a requirement of the position
